Barbara Beemer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 23, 2022.
Barbara Beemer of Sand Lake, MI, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Barb, as she was called, was born on September 14, 1936 to Harold and Margaret Rose of Rockford.
Barb is survived by her husband of 67 wonderful years, Jake Beemer; her three children, Jerry Beemer of Sand Lake, Kate Heath of Coral, and Teresa Hazard of Tennessee; her brother, Donnie Rose of Cedar Springs; her sister-in-law, Sherry Rish; and her 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Mom was loving, caring, serving, willing and ready to help anyone who needed it. She was always thinking of ways to bless other people. Mom had a heart of Gold and a generous spirit that never ended. Mom and dad were greeters in their local church for many years, welcoming the people to come worship and come to know God as their Lord and savior. Mom loved to fish, camp, spend time with her family, gardening, cooking and baking. Many have been blessed by the wonderful foods mom has created. Mom always liked flowers especially glads, which she grew in her yard and shared with anyone who would receive them. Mom was just one of those people that had a sweet spirit no matter where she was, she would spread kindness, love, joy and God's love to everyone she meets. Mom was truly a blessing from God and will be deeply missed but the memories we have of her and that loving spirit will forever live on.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11:00am at the Crossroads Church, 9530 Federal Road in Howard City. Luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be given to Spectrum Health Hospice.
