Barbara Kay Beer

Barbara Kay Beer, age 65 of Liverpool, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her home. Barbara was born February 19, 1959 in Temple, Texas and had been a resident of Liverpool for the last 11 years. She graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in education and would spend 36 years in education with 30 of those years being spent in Deer Park ISD. Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Maruna.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Michiel Beer Jr.; son, Jorge Cruz-Aedo; mother, Lucille Maruna; sisters, Diane Owens and husband Danny, Monica Jahns and husband Michael; along with numerous extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice for all their care and support especially nurses Debbie and Meg.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (1523 Main Street – Danbury, Texas 77534) with a rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM followed by a funeral mass. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery in Danbury.
