Barbara "Bobbi" Jane Belcher, 87, of Coushatta, LA passed away September 11, 2025. She was born July 19, 1938 in Pineville, LA.

Bobbi was a very special lady. To know her was to love her. She truly put the meaning in the term "YOLO", you only live once. She was a "go getter" at anything she decided to do, and age was not a factor. She started clogging in her 50's and karate made the list as well, earning a brown belt. Golfing, playing tennis and ping pong were among her hobbies, as well as playing Bridge.

Bobbi was also a very talented lady. Not only could she sew, but she could also play the piano and the organ, as well as sing.

She spent many years as an accountant during her working life including her work with H & R Block and Waskom, Brown and Associates.

Bobbi believed in living life to its fullest and loving people. She loved her grandkids and was the happiest when she was chasing them around for whatever they had going on. They were the absolute joy of her life. She had another joy and that was the joy that can only come from Jesus Christ. She knew him and knew that he gave her the ultimate joy and peace.

She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Belcher; son, Ken Belcher and wife, Lisa; grandson, Josh Belcher; parents, M.I. and Lola Mae Brumfield; two sisters, Alva Mae Parker and Lou Ellen Guess; and son-in-law, Timothy Ferrier.

Bobbi is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ferrier of Coushatta and Beth Roberson and husband, Brad of Ruston, LA; three grandchildren: Jacob Roberson and wife, Madison, Jonah Roberson and wife, Anne and Jolee Roberson; sister, Billie Walters and husband, Dean; nieces and nephews, Marilyn Hebert, Buddy Parker, Rhonda Coleman, Bubba Walters and Cindy Fowler; special great-niece, Brooke Hillman; and numerous other great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will follow at a later date.
