The Lord welcomed Barbara E. Macey, 82 of Falconer, NY, into his loving arms on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Barbara was born October 11, 1943, in Wilkes Barre, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Eva Ladrie Berdy. In March of 1996 at the Assembly of God Church in Pembroke she married Daniel R. Macey who survives.
Barbara was a graduate of Pembroke High School in Corfu. After raising her family, she worked as a teacher's aide in the Pembroke School District. Barbara then worked at the Batavia Nursing Home as a CNA for several years before retiring.
Barbara was a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading, taking long rides and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her cats.
Barbara was a loving mother and wife; her children were her pride and joy. She had a beautiful life woven with love, resilience and laughter. Her legacy of kindness will live on through her family.
Along with her loving husband, Daniel, Barbara is survived by; 5 children, twins, Laurie A. Clarke of Batavia and Bernadette M. "Beanie" (Joe) Barnes of Des Moines IA, Angela R. (Jerry) Magras of Orlando FL., Tina V. (John) Gilson of Laurens SC and Charles B. Macey; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Clarke, Jennifer Clarke, Christopher (Ashley) Hicks and Nicole (Tyler) Weissinger; 4 great grandchildren; Eli, Aiden, Cleo Weissinger and Andrew Hicks, a sister Carol Hendershott of Batavia and close friend Winnie Wawrzyniak and her son Norman.
