Barbara A. Birmingham

OTTAWA (formerly of Cincinnati) – Barbara A. Birmingham, 83, of Ottawa, passed away at 11:19 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born November 6, 1941, in Cincinnati to the late John and Cornelia (Cronin) Mulvey. On February 4, 1967, she married William Birmingham, who preceded her in death on August 31, 2021.

Barbara is survived by two daughters: Tammy (Mark) Reynolds of Delphos and Bridget (Kevin) Rosengarten of Ottawa; four grandsons: Bryan Buck, Josh (fiancé Carrie Recker) Rosengarten, Ty Rosengarten and Greg Rosengarten; a brother, Denny (Mary Lou) Mulvey of Cincinnati; and a sister, Mary Cay Kohnen of Columbus;

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Kohnen.

Barbara was a homemaker and faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will begin 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the mass at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial donations may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
