Barbara Jean Bonham
October 9, 1940 - December 1, 2025
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Bonham, who passed away on December 1, 2025, in Orofino, Idaho, surrounded by family. Barbara was born on October 9, 1940, in Gass Valley, California, to Viola and Wade Henderson.
Barbara's life was filled with creativity, kindness, and devotion. She had a lifelong love of art, music, singing, and ceramics, and she treasured her involvement with the Order of the Eastern Star. After moving from Sparks, Nevada, to the Clearwater Valley in 1979, she opened Busy Bee Ceramics, where she joyfully shared her passion for the craft with the community she held dear.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Mary Ann; and her brothers, Gary Henderson and Walter Henderson.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Ed Loyd Bonham, Sr., her one true love; her children, Lisa Bonham (Rich) and Ed Bonham, Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica Curry (Shane), Tawnya Watson, Travis Burroughs (Leslie), and Olivia Sotelo (Paco); 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
Barbara touched many lives with her warmth, creativity, and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held in the chapel at Trenary Funeral Home in Kooskia, Idaho, on December 7, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place on December 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Trenary Funeral Home chapel, with the family receiving friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. Following the service, a cremation will take place, with inurnment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Kooskia, Idaho.
