Barbara Bowmer Obituary
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Gertrude E. (Conolly)
Bowmer. She lived in Jamestown, Rhode Island for many years.
She was a graduate of the former Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing and worked
as a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. Barbara was a blessing to her countless patients
throughout the years.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Linda
A. Bowmer. She leaves behind her dear friends Diane Allard, Nikita Hellsing, Barbara
Thompson and Jill Hesse, who lovingly provided care and companionship.
A prayer service will be held at 12, Noon on Monday, December 4, 2023 in the Fagan-Quinn
Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Her burial will be in Pawtuxet
Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
