Barbara J. (Bergman) Bricher, age 80, of Coldwater passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at The Gardens at St. Henry. She was born on July 23, 1945, in Celina to the late Clarence & Rose (Nieberding) Bergman. On October 9, 1965, she married Thomas Bricher. Tom and Barb were married for 60 years, and he survives at their home near Coldwater.
Barb is also survived by her children and their spouses, Kim & Roy Pottkotter of Ft. Recovery, Dave & Kim Bricher of Coldwater, Kris & Dave Meier of St. Henry, Kathy & Herb Black of Coldwater, and Kelly & Dean Shaffer of Celina. Other surviving family members include 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two on the way, and siblings and in-laws, Jerry Bergman of Grand Rapids, MI, Bob Bergman of Summerfield, FL, Linda Dull of Beavercreek, Kathy & Richard Fennig of Beavercreek, Edith Bader of Rockford, Bob Bricher of Pinkerington, Pat Bricher of Coldwater, Dick Bricher of Celina, Jim & Pam Bricher of Valparaiso, IN, Jane & Dwight Martin of Bryant, IN, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by a great grandson, Liam Pottkotter, as well as in-laws, Geraldine Bergman, Wilma Bergman, Richard Dull, Bill Bader, Reba Bricher, and Gene Bricher.
Barb was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. Following the funeral service, burial will take place in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater. Friends may call from 3 PM to 7 PM on Friday, March 20, and from 9 AM to 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 21, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Condolences for the family may be expressed in person or online at hogenkampfh.com.
