Barbara L. Busse

Barbara L. Busse (Aka BoBo), born on March 10, 1944, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. A cherished member of her family, Barbara was known for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and the deep love she held for those around her.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Tony) Napoli and Kimberly (Richard) Schmidt, who adored her immensely. Barbara took great joy in her role as a grandmother and loved spoiling her grandchildren, Christa Busse, Alyssa Biondo, Cara Biondo, Kayla (Sean) Nanney, Julia Schmidt, Amber Farrand, and Michael (Lauren) Napoli. Her heart swelled with pride for her great-grandchildren, Carson, Austin, Caiden, Aria, Leighton, and the baby on the way. Amongst many other bonus great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her brother, Ken (Shirley) Hauk, and sister, Gloria DeRuntz, as well as sister-in-law Lynda Busse. She leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Busse. She was also welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Russell and Katherine Hauk, and her in-laws, Irwin and Bernita Busse. Her siblings, who have passed on before her, include Russell Jr. (Yvette) Hauk, Robert (Marian) Hauk, and Lois (Ben) Clermont, as well as sister-in-law JoAnn Bounk.

Throughout her life, Barbara found joy in various activities, including playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed outings to the boat and had a passion for shopping. Her love for watching wrestling captured her attention, providing her with entertainment and excitement. Barbara was also known for her baking skills and created memorable moments by hosting delightful parties for her family, which brought everyone together in celebration.

Visitation for Barbara L. Busse will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO on November 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation on November 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Barbara's legacy of love, laughter, and connection will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends.
