Barbara Sue Casteel

Mrs. Barbara Casteel, age 70, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Lebanon, TN. She was retired from Nationwide Studios and was a faithful member of New Hope Church.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ray Casteel; her sons, Anthony Ray Casteel (Mary) of Gallatin, TN and Barry Dean Casteel (Sheri) of Semmes, AL; her grandchildren, Hunter Casteel, McKenna Casteel, Kaitlyn Pierce and Kristen Pratt (Cody); her great-grandchild, Emersyn Pratt; her sisters, Brenda Underwood (Jeff), Cathy Whitaker (Mitchell) and Lisa Cook (Mark Brummett); and her brother, John Cook (Pat), all of Gallatin, TN.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Wilma Cook; her brother, Charles Cook and sister, Patricia Brummett .

The funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Casteel will be held on Monday, December 15 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 to service time at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to help the family with the funeral expenses. These can be made by calling or coming into the office of Woodard Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
