Barbara Catizone Obituary
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Anthony J. Catizone. Her dear children Michael (Stacey) Catizone, Joseph Catizone, Nicole Catizone. Her doting grandchildren Giovanni Catizone, Gemma Catizone, Giada Catizone, and Kade Mueller. Her siblings Roger (Kelli) Verzak, Robert (Carmeline) Verzak and, Stephen Verzak. She also leaves behind many dear in-laws, friends, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Barbara was preceded in passing by her parents.
Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother she could always be found with the kids by her side or attending various sporting events. Barbara loved to visit Disney World in Florida she especially enjoyed the way her grandchildren's faces lit up at the park. Barbara was a wonderful artist and made cross stitch stockings for all of her family.
The Visitation will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Overman Jones Funeral Home, 15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544. The Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary Immaculate Catholic Parish, 15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544. Interment will be private.
