Barbara Lee Chism

Barbara Lee Chism went home to be with the Lord on 1/8/23 at the age of 83. She was born in Royal Oak, MI to James and Mable (Cole) Field. She was a resident of Seminole, FL. Barbara's faith in Jesus was the focal part of her life, she was very active in church, enjoyed traveling, finding new coffee shops and spending time with her family. She was a licensed mental health therapist and owned her own practice for 25 years. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sister, Linda Field and Carol Millard. She is survived by 5 children, 3 sons, Jimmy Chism, Curt Chism (Patty), Steve Chism (Rosabell), 2 daughters Susan Lucier and Laurie Chism (Michael Meagher), 1 brother James Field,1 sister Mary Lou Wright, 10 grandchildren, Curtis, Jason, Jeremy, Kevin, Dennis, Mark, Faith, Jacob, Georges and Gabriel and 11 great-grandchildren. Barbara's funeral service will be on Saturday, January 14, at 11:00am with visitation at 10:00am. There will be a gathering immediately following the service at Indian Rocks Baptist Church.
