Barbara A. "Barb" Clark, 85, of Medina, NY, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital, surrounded by loving family after a long illness.

Born on April 21, 1940, in Albion, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edmund W. and Viola (Morris) Knights.

Barb grew up on her family farm in Knowlesville, NY, and graduated from Medina High School in 1957. She attended Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, where she earned an Associate's Degree. She then was employed at the former Marine Midland Bank, where she met and married the late Donald Clark in October 1960. Together, they raised three extraordinary children. Barb was also employed by the former Fisher-Price for 25 years, until its closing, and lastly worked in the Business Office at Medina High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Medina, an avid Medina Band Booster, and a member of the Contillion Club, having served as Secretary and organized many class of 1957 reunions.

Barb always lived her life her way and had several hobbies that brought her joy. One of her great loves in life was taking care of her kitties. She had a loving heart and took in countless cats over the years even deciding to hold on to an entire litter of kittens; determining there would be no better home than hers. She was right. Another passion of Barb's was spending time at the Casino. She simply loved everything about it: the lights, the sounds, the shows, the buffet, and of course the slot machines. She also enjoyed browsing the internet, keeping up with social media, and playing Candy Crush for hours on end.

Last, but certainly not least Barb loved her family. She would often be caught driving some variety of a big beautiful white car past their houses at 5mph and pulling in for a quick 'Hi' that would inevitably turn into hours of wonderful time spent together. Always no more than a phone call away she was a great pillar for her amazing family and she will be sorely missed.

Two children survive Barb, Sue Squires of Medina, NY, and David (Jennifer) Clark of East Amherst, NY, along with six grandchildren: Evan Squires, Clark Squires, Kevin Snyder, Kristian Snyder, Ethan Clark, Benjamin Clark, and a great-granddaughter, Wren Squires. Also surviving is her sister, Kathryn Knights of Buffalo, NY, along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Donald, Barb is predeceased by her daughter and son-in- law, Nancy and Karl Snyder.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 522 S. Main St., Medina, NY 14103. Burial will take place in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barb's name to the friends of Orleans County Animal Shelter, 4125 Oak Orchard Rd. Albion, NY 14411.
