Barbara Louise (Warnick) Collins, 82, of Deer Park died on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on June 13, 1943, in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Mary Evelyn Warnick.
She had worked for Garrett County Head Start and the Garrett County Animal Shelter. Barbara was very active in the Deer Park Community Volunteer Fire Department and volunteered her time with the Humane Society. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #2481. In addition to spending time with her family, she loved playing BINGO.
She is survived by her children, William Collins of NC, Kenny Collins and wife Amy of Deer Park, Patricia Hinebaugh and husband Philson of Oakland, and Craig Collins and wife Diana of Deer Park; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Henry" Collins, in 2020, and a daughter, Tammy Collins, in 1965.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10 to 11 AM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM with Mark Pfaff officiating. Interment will be in the Deer Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550 or Deer Park Community Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 3152, Deer Park, MD 21550.
