Barbara Cook, age 63 of Allison Park, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday December 22, 2025. Daughter of Nancy and the late Samuel Porco. Beloved wife of 37 years to James Cook. Loving mother of Samantha (fiance Jeremy Struhar) Cook and Sarah Cook. Sister of Daniel (Peggy) Porco and Kim (Matt) D'Onofrio. Aunt of David, Matt, Tina (Simrit), Jacob, Chris, Andrew, Danny (Kayla), Stevie (Cheyenne), and Anthony.
Barb was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was loved by everyone she met along life's journey and will be missed by all.Friends, family, and guests will be received on Saturday December 27, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139. A blessing service will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life will follow with details announced at the service.
