In Loving Memory of
Barbara Ann (Brunner) Cordero
September 2, 1941 – August 19, 2025

With profound sadness and deep love, we share the peaceful passing of Barbara Ann Cordero, 83, on August 19, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Barbara was born in Bridgeton, NJ on September 2, 1941 to John Grayson Brunner and Mary Emma (Fay) Brunner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Cordero. They were married on July 28, 1962 in New York City, NY.

To those who knew her, she was more than a name, she was "MOM," Bar, Barb, Barbara, Bobbie, Nana, and Mrs. C, a radiant soul whose presence brought comfort, strength, and unwavering love. Barbara was a Warrior Angel, a tireless advocate for compassionate care, and a lifelong nurse whose heart and hands healed countless lives across the country.

Barbara graduated from Bellevue Nursing School at NYU in 1962. Her nursing journey was extraordinary. From the fast-paced Emergency Room at Bellevue Hospital to the nurturing halls of schools, the Crippled Children's Hospital, the Capitol Complex as a First Responder Nurse, and later in long-term care and inspection Barbara gave her all. Her mission was always clear: to serve with compassion, respect, and dignity, no matter the role or challenge.

Yet, her greatest role was that of mother and grandmother. Her love for her family was boundless, her joy found in every hug, every laugh, every moment shared. She was the heart of her home and the soul of her family.

Barbara is deeply missed by her daughter, Jeanne Billet and her husband, Daryl, and her son Richard Cordero and his wife, Glenda. Her grandson Dustin Robinson and his partner, Trisha, and her great-grandchildren, Lanisa, Khloe, McKenna, Eva, Kailyn, Brendon and Caleb. Her legacy lives on in them in their strength, their kindness, and their love.

Barbara's spirit will forever shine in the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the care she gave so selflessly. Her memory is a blessing, her life a testament to love in action.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. and visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Holy Infant Parish, 535 Conewago Creek Rd., Manchester. Officiating will be the Reverend Gregory Aabaa, OP. Inurnment will take place privately in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
