Barbara Ann Craig took her final breath on January 29, 2026, and went peacefully into God’s loving care. Born on August 7, 1942, Barb lived a life filled with simple pleasures, constant happiness, and a heart that remained beautifully childlike through all her years.

Barb was the daughter of the late French and Dorothy Craig, and the beloved sister of the late Delores (Leo) Samad, Wayne Craig, and Scott Craig, who were waiting in Heaven to welcome her home with joy. She was a treasured aunt to Debbie (Doug) Kayse, Lisa Deich, Jason (Gina) Craig, and the late Greg Philipps and Richard Philipps; a great-aunt to Andrea (David) Ray, Tabatha (Adam) Benhaim, Braeden (Camryn) Fields, and Jackson Deich; and a great-great-aunt to Kailey, Kole, and Kraig Ray, and Sofia Fields, Leo Benhaim.

To those who loved her, Barb was pure sunshine. She was our favorite childhood playmate, happiest with puzzles, coloring pages, and familiar songs. Music brought her endless delight, and she seemed to know every word. Her joy was sincere and contagious, gently reminding everyone to savor the simple things.

Barb was deeply loved by her friends at Metzcor, neighbors, extended family, and all who had the pleasure of meeting her. She greeted each day and each person with an open heart, easy laughter, and genuine affection.

Barb’s life reminds us that happiness does not need to be complicated. It can be found in bright crayons, well-loved puzzles, favorite songs, and love freely given. She lived gently, loved purely, and leaves behind a legacy of joy that will continue to shine.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 19 at Radel Funeral Home (650 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45333), with family from 4:00–5:00 p.m. and all other guests welcome from 5:00–7:00 p.m. The family invites everyone to join them at Boudinot LaRosa’s immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Metzcor. A link has been set up to allow friends and family to make donations directly in Barb's name: https://forms.metzcor.com/donate?Cause=rec6o0CfD0RqrYUpb,Source=Notice

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the beautiful souls at Metzcor, the care team at Bailey Place, and Queen City Hospice for their kindness and loving care of our beloved Aunt Barb.

Now at perfect peace, Barb is whole, free, and forever happy.
