Christopher Cody Craig

Christopher “Cody” Craig was born on March 1, 1985, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of John Hooten and Jennifer Craig Pickard. He was married to Jessica McCollum on August 12, 2006.

Cody worked as an Auto Mechanic and loved camping, working on cars, having dinners with his family, and cooking and grilling.

Mr. Craig departed this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica, of Oakland, Tennessee; his daughter, Rayna Craig; his son, Dominic Craig; his mother, Jennifer Pickard; his father, John Hooten, his mother in law, Judy McCollum and one brother, Rob Pickard (Beonica); 2 nephews, Eli Joyner and Eason Pickard; and 1 niece, Hannah Pickard.

Cody was preceded in death by his dad, Terry Pickard; aunt, Cheryl Craig; Maternal grandparents Betty and Robert Craig; and Paternal grandparents, Terry and Pauline Pickard.

Services for Mr. Craig will be on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Peebles Funeral Home, West Chapel, located at 10670 Highway 64, Somerville, Tennessee, with Pastor Drew Murphy officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Fayette County Memorial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Rob Pickard, Derek May, Zane Dunn, Josh Cook, Josh Bryan, Adam Dunn, Guillermo Cabrales, and Johnathan Walker.

Memorials may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House.
