Barbara L. Crew, 92, of Wallingford, loving wife of the late Raymond F. Crew, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Dec.16, 2025, at Midstate Medical Center after a brief illness.
Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 27, 1933, the daughter of S. Kenneth & Dorothy (Ranck) Jones. Barb graduated from Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia and became an RN. She served many hospitals over her years and ended her career at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. She was also a proud member of the Yalesville United Methodist church, where she was actively involved for many, many years. Here she made many life-long friends, especially the 'porch ladies' which meant the world to her. Barb was a quiet soul, with a huge heart filled with faith and so much love. The family would like to thank the wonderful aids that took care of mom over these last couple of years. The love & care you provided mom, allowed her to live out these years on her terms. We are very grateful for every one of you
Barbara is survived by her brother, K. Herbert Jones and his wife Marilyn; her children, Kimberly Buongirno and her husband, Frank, Bruce Crew and his wife, Beth, and Sheri Molampy and her husband, Stephen; her grandchildren, Michaela Moore and her husband, Jackson, Kyle Crew, Brendon Crew and his wife Intira, Anna Crew, Garrett Molampy, and Addison Molampy; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Benson and John Talyor Moore; her sister-in-law, Emily Crew; and many nieces and nephews.
