Barbara Ann "Peach" Crowell, of Carrollton, KY, born on April 9, 1949, in Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. A dynamic woman, Barbara dedicated her life to her career and family while also nurturing a variety of passions that showcased her vibrant spirit.
Barbara was a partner in Port William Apartments and RV Park in Carrollton. Before this endeavor, she made a meaningful difference in the lives of many as a school bus driver in Indiana, demonstrating her love for children and dedication to their safety and well-being.
In addition to her professional achievements, Barbara was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed playing golf, boating, and skiing, all of which filled her life with happiness and adventure. A true artisan, she found solace in woodworking and crafting, allowing her creativity to flourish. Musically inclined, Barbara shared her gift through playing the organ and piano, bringing joy to those around her.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Gregory L. Crowell of Carrollton, KY, their son Todd (Jennifer) Crowell of Milton, KY, as well as her sister Linda Hill of Columbus, IN, and her brother Robert "Buddy" Rohrer of Warsaw, KY. She will be deeply missed by her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Rohrer and Helen Taylor Terry, her son Casey Lee Crowell, and an infant sister, Nancy Rohrer.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place starting at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025. The burial will take place in the Crowell-Berry Family Cemetery in Carrollton.
Barbara Ann "Peach" Crowell will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she shared with her family.
