Barbara Kay Dansky

Ms. Barbara Kay Dansky, age 64, passed away October 13, 2024. She was born December 27, 1959, in San Jose, California to Bill and Royce Reeb. Barbara was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Before she became disabled, she worked as a security guard for many years at the resorts in Sandestin, she loved meeting new guest and the exciting adventures of the night shift.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Royce Reeb; her only sister, Pam Adams; and her beloved brother-in-law, Donnie Adams; and her beloved pets, Chewbacca, Buster, and Spike.
Barbara is survived by her stepmom & best friend, Cheryl Reeb; daughter, Kaycee Weldon (Chris); honorary daughter, Suzy Jette (Aaron); her granddaughters, Kayla Weldon boyfriend Remington, Alyssa Weldon, fiancé Kyle; her many many many god kids (or she just flat out called you her grandkid); as well as the Masonbrink family; and her dog, Fritz.
Barbara was an amazing daughter, sister, mom, and Nana. She spent her time playing games on her phone, playing RuneScape where she met many friends some that she met in person and some she didn't, She met her best friend Cheryl Starkey who she talked to daily multiple times a day for hours at a time. Her all-time favorite was Monday & Friday night she loved watching her (naked men) wrestling. She loved spending time with her granddaughter's and she loved it when they would fry her up some squash. Fun fact that she loved to tell everyone was she could still put her leg over her head, and she was proud of it because someone her age could still do that.
We will have a celebration of life at her house in DeFuniak springs, November 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
