Barbara June Davis

Barbara June Davis, 86, of Robert Lee, Texas, passed away on August 13th, 2025 in Keene, Texas.

Barbara was born on August 24, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas to Turney and Irma Casey. She grew up in Robert Lee, Texas where she attended school and played the trombone.

She married Buddy Millican in December of 1953 at Pecan Baptist Church. Together they had 2 daughters, Cindy Millican Keefer and Pam Millican Hoover.

Barbara later married the man she would spend the rest of her life with, loving one another immensely, Add Davis.

Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for many years for the Simpson Ranch. Outside of work she and Add spent as much time as they could fishing, and in their spare time did a lot of pecan picking. They also attended Robert Lee Baptist Church where they were very involved, as well as helping out in the community as much as they could.

Barbara is survived by her 2 daughters, Cindy Keefer and her husband Paul; Pam Hoover and her husband David; 3 grandchildren, Jarrod Hoover and Wife Hannah; Kacy Hall and Husband Nick; Emily Sanders and husband Kevin; 4 great grandchildren, Caleb, Ada, Andy, and Stetson. 2 Sisters, Dian Coulter and husband Grady; Phebe Heffernan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Add Davis; her father and mother Turney and Irma Casey; and her brother Bill Casey and his wife Dwala.

Visitation will be held August 18th from 2-6pm at Shaffer Funeral Home in Robert Lee, Texas, with burial to follow on August 19th at 11am at Robert Lee Cemetery. We will not be holding a service.
