Barbara Elizabeth Holmes Deuble age 76, of Canton, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the Canton Regency. She was born in Canton, Ohio on September 27, 1949, to the late Caroline and Robert Holmes and was a lifelong resident of Canton. She graduated from Lehman High School and University of Miami, Ohio. Barbara was a member of Women's Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), Canton Women's Club, Congress Book Club, 9 Hole Women's Golf at Congress Lake and The Babwha Club. She was a teacher at Magnolia Elementary School for 30 years where she taught Kindergarten and 1st grade. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 27 years, Stephen G. Deuble.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Bruce Bartlett, of Ocala, Florida, nephew, Jonathan (Janell) Bartlett and niece Elizabeth (Charlie) Hardage; great-nephews Mason and Preston Bartlett and great-niece Olivia Hardage. She is also survived by her step-children JP (Linda) Deuble, Max (Jen) Deuble, and Molly (Chip) Zerrer and their children.

The funeral service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church on December 3, 2025, at 11am.

The family wishes to extend to the staff of the Canton Regency and Advantage Hospice their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the loving care they gave to Barbara. Also, a very special thank you to Barb's many friends that always took such great care of her.
