Barbara Henry DeVito age 95, of
Watertown, New York and
Radford, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was born October 2, 1930, in
Watertown, New York to Minnie Agnes and Anselm M. Henry. Barbara was one of eleven children. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Don (Gen), Robert (Veronica), Russ (Audry), Harold (Margaret), and William "Bill" (Helen), sisters Helen Allan (Gordon), Doris Dillenback (Hank), Patricia Vander Bogart (Kent), and Joan Henry. A marriage to Patsy DeVito ended in divorce. She is survived by sister Nancy Lawler (John), Fort Pierce, FL & Greenwich, CT, her three children Thomas (Danielle), Palm Coast, FL., Pasquale (Jamal), Fort Wayne, IN., and Anna,
Radford, Va. She leaves 4 grandchildren Moriah (Brian), Caleb, Nathanael (Debbie), Hannah Albright, and 2 great-grandchildren Aiden and Tylar. New additions to the family include step-grandchildren Haidyn, Walkker, Lisa, and Jacob (and their 10 children). Barbara has approximately 45 nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and nephews. Caregiver and friend, Patrice Stuart and her daughter Nevaeh have brought her a lot of joy over the past 4 years. Early on, Barbara worked mostly in Watertown as a Telephone Operator for New York Telephone. Additionally, she worked for Jake and Mary DeVito selling Snowmobiles, Richards Antiques, and Empsall's department store, all in Watertown. She was especially proud to work with a great group of ladies cleaning Holy Family Church for many years. She said she never had a job she did not like. Barbara was a 1948 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy and was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church. She has always had a strong Catholic faith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, 123 Winthrop Street,
Watertown, NY in the spring. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow. Details on services will be posted in the spring. The DeVito family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in
