Barbara Dickerson

Barbara A. Dickerson of Phoenix, AZ, loving wife, tender mother, and devoted grandmother stepped into the arms of Jesus December 21,2025 at the age of 94. Barbara was born in Groom, Texas November 20,1931. She met the love of her life, James W. Dickerson, at Groom high school. They were married 63 years. James preceded Barbara to heaven on April 12,2012.
They moved to Phoenix, AZ. in 1960.They worked together for years, ministering to children and teenagers at their Baptist church. God was the stronghold of their marriage and family. They let the light of Christ shine brightly throughout their lives and for generations to follow.
Barbara worked as a respiratory technician and later on in the cosmetic and fragrance industry where she was loved for many years. She was the saleswoman who outsold everyone! Her genuine heart and love for others helped her soar to the top of the industry.
Barbara and James later founded and co-owned JMD Dental Lab with their son, Michael. Proceeded family members include: mother, Hattie Helm, father, Jesse James Helm, sisters Emma Grace Pennington, Mary Lou Martin, brothers, James J. Helm, Sears Wayne Helm.
She is survived by her sister, Patsy Fraser and children, Michael J.Dickerson, Michelle Moore, and Melanie Bressler. Also God's priceless blessing of 10 grandchildren,8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
Memorial services will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 29, at the Hillside Baptist Church located at 1344 W. Thunderbird Rd., Phoenix, AZ. 85023.
