Rose Marie "Rosy" Hartmann

Rose "Rosy" Hartmann, born Rose Zottarelli, 88, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026.

Born February 18, 1937, in Queens, New York, Rosy was the beloved daughter of Ernest and Frieda Zottarelli. She graduated from high school and devoted herself to raising her children as a stay-at-home mother. Once her children were grown, she found great joy working in daycare, where her love for small children truly shined.

Rosy was known for her playful, silly sense of humor and her enjoyment of puzzles and reading. She brought warmth and laughter to those around her and treasured time spent with family.

She is survived by her children, Tina Harris, Sheree Lee, and Kelly Lee. Her youngest son, Ernest Hartmann, preceded her in death in 2021. Rosy was a proud grandmother to Sarah Littleton and Valerie Banuelos and adored her great-grandchildren Doran, Italia, and Aria.

Rosy was very close with her siblings and survived by her sister Annette Williams. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Zottarelli, and her sister, Margie Matteucci.

A private celebration of life will be held by her immediate family in the near future.

Though deeply missed, Rosy's love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
