Ingeborg L. Hartmann

Ingeborg L. Hartmann, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her home in Mundelein, IL. She was born on May 11, 1933, in Germany, and then came to the United States in 1961, and was a longtime resident of Hoffman Estates, IL. For the past 33 years, she made her home in Mundelein. She worked as a waitress and greeter, roles she truly enjoyed because they allowed her to connect and socialize with others. She had a passion for music, specifically classical and opera. She was a master gardener and reveled in creating flower arrangements for arts and craft shows. She loved traveling, animals and most of all spending time with her grandchildren who adored their, "Oma" (also known as Old Oma).

Surviving is her daughter, Ina (Michael M.) Marquardt; 2 grandchildren, Michae H.l Marquardt (Shannon James) and Kristin (Jeremy) Cummings; 2 great grandchildren, Conor and Kurt Cummings and by her sister, Barbara (the late Manfried) Mueller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Hartmann in 1991.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) in Libertyville. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
