Barbara J Dixon

Barbara Dixon, 76, of Crestview, passed away on January 30, 2026. Barbara, the daughter of the late Mack Lee and Anise Dixon was born February 20, 1949 in Milton, FL.

Barbara was educated in Santa Rosa County where she attended T. R. Jackson in Milton, FL. She worked over 20 years as a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Milton, Fl. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Michael and Scotty, a wonderful god-mother to her god-daughter, a special aunt, cousin and friend to many. Barbara had a loving heart and shared whatever she had with others without any reservation. Her smile was contagious and her deep love for others was displayed through her words and actions.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Anise Dixon; brother, Lou Elbert Dixon; and sister, Maxine Green.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Michael Dixon and Jeremy "Scotty" Dixon; three grandchildren: Michael Dixon Jr., Corey Dixon & Megan Dixon; one great grandchild, Isla M Dixon; god-daughter, Cheri Harvey; three brothers: Charles Dixon, Connie Dixon, Mack (Priscilla) Dixon; two sisters, Shirley Price & Joyce Dixon; two special friends, Evelyn Nichols and Christene Black; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. all on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
