Barbara Ann "Susie" Downard

Barbara "Susie" Ann Downard of Moore, Oklahoma, was called Home to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the age of 65. Barbara was born in Norman, Oklahoma, on September 17, 1957, the daughter of William Virgil Hill and Zula Lea (Holmes) Hill.
Barbara was a warm, caring person who enjoyed keeping her mind sharp and active. She loved doing word search puzzles, reading her Bible, and learning new bits of trivia. She loved sharing the "fun facts" she'd learn with her family and friends, often calling or texting them out of the blue to say things like, "Did you know that most calico cats are female?" Whenever she had a bit of down time, she loved listening to country music and watching her favorite movies. Mostly, Barbara was passionate about her family. She spent most of her time bragging about her grandchildren, both of whom she utterly adored. She was a loving mother, Nana, sister and friend. Barbara will be very deeply missed.
Preceding Barbara in death are her parents, William and Zula Hill, one brother, Don Hill, and her sister, Beverly Samman and husband Larry.
Left to treasure her memory are her daughter, Samantha Mull and son-in-law Kevin, two grandchildren, Riley and Hunter Mull, brother Calvin Hill and wife Sheila, and her loving boyfriend, Donnie Hopkins.
