Barbara DuCette Obituary
Barb is survived by daughter, Kelly, her four grandchildren and six great-grand children Michael (Brentley, Serenity, and Aurora), Kailiegh (Ryan), Neika (Dakota and Dominic) and Abbie. She has one brother, Colin (Leah) and two nephews (Ryan and Jeff) and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
She loved being with her family, going to the beach, on road trips and reading. She was a Seahawks fan, loved all the seasons of Washington and enjoyed watching her family grow.
Barb worked for J.C. Penneys for 25 years, prior to that she worked in the printing industry. She was a single mother who opened her heart to kids who needed somewhere safe, giving her several bonus children.
Barb found the light in any dark time, she made a point of finding the positive when it seemed like there wasn't one. She loved to laugh, to be crafty, and to watch old horror and hallmark movies with her grandchildren.
Barb's family will be holding a celebration of her life once the weather clears up, we will update that information soon.
Her family looks forward to seeing/hearing any memories you may have of Barb.
