Barbara Ann DuVall, affectionately known as Barb, passed away at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 16 1955 in Milwaukee, Barb was a generous and caring individual whose vibrant personality left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.
A dedicated professional, Barb retired from her career in the Food Service department of Milwaukee Public Schools. Beyond her work, she embraced life with an enthusiastic spirit, indulging in her hobbies which included gardening, baking, and enjoying a captivating movie. Barb found joy in the challenge of solving jigsaw puzzles.
Barb was the beloved wife of Richard DuVall, and together they created a warm and inviting home filled with laughter and love. She cherished her role as a mother to Nicole (Mike) DuVall and Adam DuVall, and her pride extended into her role as a grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Violet. She is also remembered fondly as a dear sister to Nicholas (Colleen) Lashway, Christine (Gerard) Zawikowski, and Michele (Charles) Liska. Her legacy continues through her family, who are further supported by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.Barb was predeceased by her brother Russell Lashway and her parents, Nicholas and Carol Lashway.
For those wishing to pay their respects, visitation will be held on September 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, a funeral service will take place at 6:30 PM, all taking place at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Oklahoma Chapel located at 1515 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
Barb DuVall will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
