In Loving Memory of Barbara Eichhorn
November 26, 1937 – April 17, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother, Barbara Eichhorn, who peacefully departed this life on April 17, 2025, at the age of 87.
A lifelong resident of Yonkers, New York, Barbara was a woman of quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering
devotion to her family. She was the proud mother of her daughter, Donna, and the cherished grandmother of
four grandsons - John (Charissa), Nicholas (Alison), Victor, and Brandon (Francesca) - all of whom brought
endless joy to her life. Her love extended to the next generation, and she was a doting great-grandmother to
Vera, Olivia, and Luciano, each holding a special place in her heart.
Barbara was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert Eichhorn, in 2018. The love they shared and the
life they built together remain an inspiration to all who knew them.
She found great comfort and creativity in crocheting, a passion she shared with those she loved. Her
handmade pieces, crafted with patience and care, were symbols of the warmth she gave so freely. She was
also a proud member of the Coyne Park Senior Center, where she enjoyed friendship, laughter, and
connection within her community.
More than anything, Barbara treasured time spent with her family - whether gathered around the table,
sharing stories, or simply enjoying one another's presence.
Her gentle spirit, her loving heart, and the legacy she leaves behind in her children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren will continue to shine brightly.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private service will be held by the family in her memory.
