Barbara P. Elrod, a lifelong resident of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on May 8, 2025 at the age of 89.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Cleon Pearce; brother, Buddy (Sandra) Pearce; and devoted husband of 65 years, David Elrod Jr.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, Rick Elrod and Terry (Heather) Elrod; grandsons, Justin (Erin) Elrod, Nathaniel Elrod; granddaughters, Kayleigh (Dustin) Roberts, Selah (Austin) Comes; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Harper Grace Roberts; sister, Sandra (Johnny) Atwood.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved boating, going to sporting events and Holidays, especially Christmas, with family. Most of all, she loved the times spent with her family. She was a woman that loved her family, but above all, she loved her Lord. She’s now an angel in Heaven.
