Barbara Elson Obituary

Barbara attended William Paterson University and was a teacher for the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District for over 20 years. She wanted to be remembered for living an honest life. She enjoyed traveling, both abroad and throughout the United States. She was passionate about researching her family tree, as well as drawing and photography.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Charlotte (Sharpe) Elson.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Fritsch, her niece, Allison Fritsch and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 3:00 pm, at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church, 39 Bartley Road Long Valley, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, https://www.sthuberts.org/ where Barbara adopted her beloved cat, Willow.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
