Barbara Ann Esposito (nee Patrizi) of Haddonfield, NJ died August 25, 2025. Age 86. Beloved wife of John V. Esposito for over 63 years. Loving mother of John Esposito (Kathyanne); Mark Esposito (Christine) and Dean Esposito. Devoted grandmother of Alexander, Timothy, Juliet, Audrey, Benjamin, Anna, and Phoebe. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents John G. Patrizi and Pierina Patrizi (nee Anzellotti), and dear sisters Joan and Jacqueline.
Barbara grew up in Philadelphia, attending Archbishop Hallahan then Holy Family University. After marrying Jack, she dove into being a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed raising her three sons and became an exceptional baker and cook. Her many activities were knitting, reading, writing stories, and tennis. She began teaching at Camden Catholic High School in 1979 and stayed there until retiring in 2000. While being an admired teacher and mentor, she led the Drama Club and Spanish Honor Society. She took groups of students to Spain, France, and Italy during spring breaks. After retiring, she and Jack traveled and were dedicated grandparents often attending games, plays, and dance recitals.
Relatives and friends will gather Wednesday September 3rd from 9:30 to 10:45am in Christ The King Church, 200 Windsor Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11am. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
