Barbara Jean Faiss, 91 of Copley Ohio passed away April 17, 2024. Born in Clinton, Illinois in 1932 she continued her education as a loyal Fightin' Illini and member of the Stratford House at the University of Illinois, where she met her husband Rudi. She moved with her husband and young family to Mogadore where she lived for 50 years. Barb had a deep appreciation of painting, nature, birds, and wildflowers and was game for many family fishing trips to Canada and outdoor camping adventures across the U.S. She was a member of Wedgewood Methodist church. Barb was a resident of Concordia at Sumner (Copley) for the last decade of her life where she enjoyed her large community of friends and participated in their church and choir.
Barb was preceded in death by husband Rudi, siblings Jim and Marjorie, daughters-in-law Ruth and Sandy. She is survived by her son Larry and daughter-in-law Jackie, son Glen (Carla), and daughter Lisa, and by grandchildren Vanessa, Kyle, Jason, Ginelle, Sara, Kris. Great grandchildren Rowan, Maddie, Joaquin, James, Gavin.
On TUESDAY May 7, 2024, there will be a memorial gathering from 2 – 4 pm in the Concordia Great room (970 Sumner Pkwy, Copley, OH) with thoughts provided by Chaplain Charlie at 2:30.
