It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Favale, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on Staten Island, New York to Robert & Joan Fitzgibbons, into a large and loving family, Barbara was one of nine siblings and is survived by her eight brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews - each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Barbara was the devoted wife to Deacon Anthony Favale for 43 years. She was a fiercely loving mother to her three children - Anthony (Scott), Kimberly, and Samantha - and the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Nolan, Archer & Ivy, who brought her endless joy and whom she loved to spoil with all her heart.

Barbara was known for her strength, her resilience, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved. A tough lady through and through, she met life's challenges with grit, determination, and a sharp wit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her presence was powerful, her love unconditional, and her spirit unbreakable.

She loved to cruise, and she loved to go to Atlantic City. She enjoyed the simple things in life. Her favorite place to be was with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy lives on in her children, her grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched.
