With deep love and gratitude, our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Barbara Jean (Hagan) Fetterman, who entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2025, at the remarkable age of 98. Born on November 3, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA, Barbara devoted her life to caring for others. A dedicated and compassionate nurse for many years, she served her patients with skill, gentleness, and unwavering empathy. Her vocation was more than a profession - it was a calling she fulfilled with grace, humility, and abiding strength. You could always find her working in her flower beds, quilting, or baking her favorite treats for family. She was happiest when surrounded by family. Barbara's life was deeply rooted in her strong Catholic faith. She found comfort, guidance, and hope in her relationship with God and lived her devotion through daily prayer, acts of kindness, and a quiet but profound generosity of spirit. Her faith illuminated her life and the lives of all who knew her. Above all, Barbara treasured her family. She nurtured generations with her wisdom, warmth, and steady presence. Whether offering thoughtful advice, celebrating life's milestones, or simply listening with patience and compassion, she created a legacy of love that will continue to guide her family for years to come. Barbara is survived by her sons Jack Jr. and wife Sue, Dennis and wife Patty, Kenneth and wife Vita, Thomas and wife Bonnie, Christopher and wife Jane, George and wife Carina; and her daughters Barbara Fetterman, Mary Stewart, Susan Beckham and husband Jack, and Margaret Shaw. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her unwavering love. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Jack Fetterman, Sr., her brother and two sisters, and her son-in-law, Joey Shaw. There will be a Rosary on December 1, 2025, 6:00PM, at Deer Park Funeral Home, 336 E. San Augustine St., Deer Park, TX 77536. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 2, 2025, 1PM, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St, Deer Park, TX 77536, with interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023. Following interment, there will be a celebration of Barbara's life at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St, Deer Park, TX 77536. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived, a faith well lived, and a heart that loved without measure.

May she rest in God's everlasting life and eternal peace.
