In Loving Memory of Barbara Gonzales
July 26, 1962 – March 08, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Gonzales, who peacefully left us on March 08, 2025, at the age of 62. A devoted servant of Jehovah and a cherished member of her community, Barbara lived a life full of faith, kindness, and compassion.
Born on July 26, 1962, Barbara was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every challenge and triumph. She was an active member of the local congregation, always eager to share the love and hope that her beliefs instilled in her with others.
Barbara's spirit, caring nature, and open heart touched the lives of many. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or provide comfort in times of need. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.
You could always count on her to give you a call just to say hello and ask how you are doing. Her laugh and jokes were infectious, and she was blessed with many years gracing the family with her warmth and comfort. She took great joy in the moments and memories spent with her loved ones.
Barbara's devotion to the teachings of the Bible and her love for Jehovah gave her strength and peace throughout her life. Her commitment to living in accordance with her faith has left a lasting impact on those who knew her. In her final days, she was comforted by the knowledge that she would soon be reunited with loved ones in the paradise that Jehovah promises.
Barbara is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 33 years Fred "Freddy" Gonzales, whose ashes will be laid to rest with her, her parents Antonia and Guillermo De La Rosa, and her sister Norma Jean De La Rosa. She is survived by her son Curtis Gonzales, sisters Esmeralda De La Rosa, Roxane Morales (Steven Morales), and Denise Tristan and by the many nieces and nephews and her grandchildren all of whom she cherished deeply. She will be dearly missed by her family, and all who were blessed to know her. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Legends Funeral Home on March 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM. Her burial will be held on March 19, 2025, at the San Marcos Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Barbara's memory will forever be cherished, and her faith will continue to inspire us all as we await the fulfillment of Jehovah's promises. May she rest in peace, knowing she has touched this world with love and grace.
She will be carried to her resting place by Pall Bearers: Alejandro Corpus III, Travis Gonzales, Jeremy Tristan, Steven Anthony Morales Jr., Anthony Tristan, Gabriel Tristan and honorary Paul Bearer: Kenneth Gonzales.
