Barbara Anne Green, 98, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Barbara was born in Detroit, Michigan to Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin Stickney. She attended Barry College for Women in Miami Shores, Florida, and was a graduate from the University of Michigan school of dentistry with a certificate in Dental Hygiene. She practiced in Michigan for 22 years.

She married Albert L. Green, Jr. on June 14, 1952. They had five daughters: Sarah Olsen, Judith Matheny, Katherine Olbekson, Nancy Acosta, and Barbara Frank.

After becoming a resident of Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1973, she was affiliated with St. Mary's Cathedral and a past president of the Cathedral Guild. She served as Medical Records Director at Mountain Towers Healthcare for 12 years. Following retirement, she served in many volunteer activities and has lived in Florida, North Carolina, and currently Stafford, Virginia.

She is survived by her daughters; five grandchildren: Benjamin and Charles Anderson, Alex Kirby, Stephanie Reece, Kelley Matheny; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents in 1953 and 1998, her husband in 1991, and her sister, Sally Demartini in 2013.

Donations in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford. Burial in Cheyenne, Wyoming at a future date.
