Charlie Floyd Threat, 76, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Stafford, VA.

Charlie was a proud graduate of T.C. Williams High School and a decorated veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served honorably in the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice.

A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Charlie lived and breathed football - DC4L (Dallas Cowboys for Life). He had a lifelong passion for classic VW Bugs and was well known for his enthusiasm for the iconic car. In his free time, he enjoyed bicycling and was often seen out for a ride, embracing the simple joy of being on two wheels.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda; son, Bryan Anderson; beloved pets, Scooby, Missy, Ms. Spot, and Precious; grandchildren, KeyShawn Stancil-Anderson, Bryan Anderson Jr., Tiera Anderson, Taylor Anderson, and Dayionne Jones; siblings, Yvonne Oliver, Juanita Threat, John Threat (Carolyn), Bernard Threat (June), Lawrence Threat, and Ronnell Threat; and close friend, Sharon Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Threat Sr.; mother, Frances Threat; brothers, Ben Threat Jr., Ed Lewis Threat, Marvis Threat, Ronald Threat, and Billy Threat; and sister, Girtha Davis.

A service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
