Barbara Ann Harper Carver

Mrs. Barbara Ann Harper Carver, age 80, of Willacoochee, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 13, 2025 following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Carver was born April 15, 1945 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Eston Harper and Mary Lee Harper. She was a woman of God and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She married the love of her life, Elzie Wayne Carver, in 1964 and spent more than 47 years making a home and raising a family with him prior to his passing in 2012. She was a founding member of New Beginnings Church in Alapaha, Georgia. Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Carver and her 2 brothers, Jerry Harper and Larry Harper.
Mrs. Carver leaves behind her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Stanley and Leesa Carver of Willacoochee, Georgia; a granddaughter Payton Wiggins and husband John of Douglas, Georgia; along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Mrs. Carver's family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Ricketson Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service and interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Russell Joiner officiating.
