Barbara Harper, 84, passed away on May 17, 2025.
Barbara Dalene Harper was born on January 16, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to The Kansas City area where she dedicated her time raising her children. As her children grew older, she then began her long career in tax filing. She retired from HR Block as a Master Tax advisor with 30 years of service. When she wasn't busy crunching numbers she was cherishing the times with her family in her own feisty way.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Ike Wilkinson and Clara Linfor; husband, Glen Harper; and daughter, Teresa Dodds. She'll be greatly missed by her children Glen (Mindy) Harper Jr. "GH" and Dalene Moss; grandchildren, Abbey Moss, Blake Moss, and Christina Potter; great grandchildren, Cadence Potter; and son-in-law, Shane Dodds.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery - Lakeside Chapel on Saturday, May 31st at 1:00pm.
