Bobbie was born August 3, 1931, the daughter of Claude and Verna Faye Lewis in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1949. Bobbie married James Herl, the love of her life, on May 20, 1950; he preceded her in death in July 2002. She was employed by Topeka State Bank and Capital Federal and retired in 1960. Bobbie was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Bobbie is survived by her sons, Paul Herl (Kathy) of Sabetha, Kansas, and Timothy Herl (Susan) of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Tyler Herl (Chelsea), Kayla Herl and Adam Herl; and great-grandchildren, Kane and Charlie.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester Road, Topeka KS 66606.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice, and sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Condolences may be sent online to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
