Barbara Sue Huskey

Barbara Sue Huskey, 80, of Alligator Point, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026. Barbara dedicated many years of service to the State of Florida, working as an administrative assistant with the Department of Health until her retirement. She took great pride in her work. Outside of the office, Barbara lived life doing things she enjoyed. She loved offshore fishing-especially time spent near the K Tower-She had a love for classic automobiles and antique guns. She was an avid animal lover as well. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Mr. Ronald Huskey, and a dear lifelong friend, Joe Thomas. A memorial service honoring Barbara's life will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Young Family Funeral Home in the Harvey Young Chapel, beginning at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society at http://www.forgottenpets.org Arrangements are under the care of Young Family Funeral Home in Crawfordville.
