Barbara Jackson Obituary
Barbara was born on February 27, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, to Florian and Mary (Crisan) Schoaps. On December 13, 1952, she married James E. Jackson in Detroit, and together they built a life centered on family, love, and faith. Barbara went on to serve her community as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 30 years before retiring.
A devoted and loving mother, Barbara is survived by her children: Kathleen Jackson, Peggy Fuller, Michael (Patricia) Jackson, and Gigi (Michael Marek) Jackson. She was a proud grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 18, and great-great-grandmother of 12. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Barbara had a kind heart, a warm sense of humor, and a beautiful soul. She was known for her excellent cooking, her love of travel, and the deep care she showed to those around her. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and good food, and she always filled the hearts of others with joy and warmth.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Jackson; her parents, Florian and Mary Schoaps; and her siblings, Helen, Robert, Edward, and Albert.
Barbara's legacy lives on through the generations of her family and the countless lives she touched with her love, generosity, and grace.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
