Barbara Johnson Obituary
Barbara A. Johnson 81 of Chillicothe passed from this life 12:18 pm Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home. She was born Wednesday, January 26, 1944, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Creighton and Mabel (Gindlesperger) Gray. On Friday, January 10, 1964, she married Luther Edison "Ed" Johnson who passed from this life Thursday, May 16, 2024.
She is survived by daughter Kimberly (Keith) Greene; son Lee Johnson; grandson Ian Greene; sister Laura Kerns; brother Larry (Brenda) Nevin; sister-in-law Ellen Posey; brothers-in-law Omer (Linda) Johnson, Ernie (Cindy) Johnson, Brad (Elaine) Johnson and Tony (Cathy) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Barb was preceded in death by sister Mary Everhart and brothers Lawrence, Harry and Howard Gray.
Barb enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, wood crafts and being outdoors gardening.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Twin Township Cemetery with Rev. Richard Vititoe officiating.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge is serving the family.
