Carl Eugene Johnson

Carl Eugene Johnson, age 87, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 11:16 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home. He was born July 28, 1938, in Hurley, Missouri, the son of Fred and Helen (Coker) Johnson.
Carl worked in the maintenance department at Silver Dollar City for 14 years. He enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, gardening, and was an artist.
On September 21, 1956, he married Patsy Sue Housley in Miller, Missouri.
Carl is survived by his wife, of 69 years, Patsy; three daughters, Debbie Banther of Aurora, Missouri, Glenda Gillis and her husband, Phil, of Springfield, Missouri and Barbara Stobbe and her husband, Roger, of Marionville, Missouri; one son, Greg Johnson and his wife, Tonya, of Nixa, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Fred, and Helen; son, Carl Johnson Jr.; granddaughter, April Banther; two brothers and three sisters.
A celebration of Carl's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Williams Funeral Home in Marionville, Missouri.
