Barbara Ann Jones, 76, left her earthly body in exchange for her heavenly body on October 6, 2024 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram, MS.
Barbara was born in Hopewell, MS on May 25, 1948 to Doris Kelly Lewis and R.V. Lewis, Jr. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing, camping, and visiting with family and friends. She was a caregiver and activities director at Pine Crest Guest Home for 17 years until she retired.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Christopher Garrett Dillard. She is survived by her sons, Roy Edward Hedgepeth Jr. of Crystal Springs, Robert Wayne Hedgepeth of Georgetown, and a daughter, Amy Dillard of Terry; grandchildren, Thomas Hedgepeth, Ada Jones, Andrew Hedgepeth, Josh Hedgepeth, Emily Small, Gracie Hedgepeth, Tommy Justin Dillard, Amanda Dillard, Haley Michael, and MaKayla Dillard. She is also survived by her six brothers, Robert Lewis, Richard Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Johnny Lewis, Randy Lewis, and Tommy Lewis, and three sisters, Louise Douglas, Debbie Strong, and Brenda Woods.
