Barbara Gwendoline Jones

Barbara Gwendoline Jones, age 92, born on April 28th, 1932, in Smethwick, England passed away on April 23rd, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim Jones, parents Hector and Alice Glover, and brothers Albert and Derek.
She is survived by her son Keith, his wife Michelle, grandson Joshua and his wife Salla, and sister Margaret.
Barbara will be remembered as a happy, humourous, wonderfully kind, considerate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all those who had the joy of knowing her.
Barbara loved tending to her garden in England, sitting in the Texas sunshine, listening to all genres of music but especially classic country, and continuing to keep up to date with all types of movies and TV. After moving to Texas in 2019 to live with her son and family, she was technologically "savvy" enough to keep in contact with all her family and friends in the UK. She loved doting on our dogs Bow and most recently Ziggy, who loved and protected her. She never considered herself "old", that was for other people.
